Description

O4O112-800G-CUAH Compatible 0.5m (1.6ft) Twin-port 2x400G OSFP Finned Top to 4x200Gb/s OSFP Flat Top Passive Copper Splitter Cable

NADDOD O4O112-800G-CUAH is an 800Gb/s twin-port OSFP (Octal Small Form-factor Pluggable) Finned Top to 4x200Gb/s OSFP Flat Top passive Direct Attach Copper (DAC) dual breakout (aka splitter) cable for 400Gb/s End-to-End Infiniband solutions. DAC cables are the lowest-cost, lowest-latency, near zero power consuming, high-speed links available due to their simplicity of design and minimal components.Main use is linking an 800Gb/s Quantum-2 switch to OSFP-based 200Gb/s ConnectX-7 PCIe network adapter cards and BlueField-3 DPUs. NADDOD’s cable solutions provide power-efficient connectivity enabling higher port bandwidth, density and configurability at a low cost and reduced power requirement in the data centers.

Questions & Answers
Ask a Question
Q:
I only use the No. 1 splitter IB cable and the rest of the branches are not installed on the card, which will affect the use of the No. 1 splitter cable.
A:
No effect, after the port is configured with a split port, it is recognized as four logical ports inside the device, and each branch corresponds to a logical port, which does not affect each other.
Q:
Why are there no NDR AOCs?
A:
OSFPs are very large and heavy and the fiber breaks easily. A two-splitter cable will have three large transceiver ends. A four-splitter cable will have five transceivers. That would almost certainly make it easy to break the fiber during installation - especially for a 30 meter AOC.
Q:
What is the maximum transmission distance of the O4O112-800G-DACH cable?
A:
The passive DAC can provide up to 3M.
