Description

Cisco Compatible DAC 1m (3ft) Twin-port 800Gb/s OSFP Finned Top to 2x400Gb/s OSFP Flat Top Passive Copper Splitter Cable

NADDOD O2O112-800G-CU1 is an 800Gb/s twin-port OSFP (Octal Small Form-factor Pluggable) to 2x400Gb/s OSFP passive Direct Attach Copper (DAC) dual breakout (aka splitter) cable for 400Gb/s End-to-End solutions. DAC cables are the lowest-cost, lowest-latency, near zero power consuming, high-speed links available due to their simplicity of design and minimal components. Main use is linking an 800Gb/s Spectrum-4 switch to OSFP-based 400Gb/s ConnectX-7 PCIe network adapter cards. NADDOD’s cable solutions provide power-efficient connectivity enabling higher port bandwidth, density and configurability at a low cost and reduced power requirement in the data centers.

Questions & Answers
Ask a Question
Q:
If I use only branch 1 of a 1-to-2 cable and do not connect branch 2 to a network card, will it affect the usage of branch 1?
A:
It will not affect the usage. After port configuration for bifurcation, internally in the device, it is recognized as two logical ports, with each branch corresponding to a logical port, and they do not impact each other.
Q:
What is the maximum transmission distance of O2O112-800G-DAC cables?
A:
Passive DAC cables can provide a maximum distance of 3 meters.
Q:
We have some 800G OSFP port switches connected with original cables. If we use your cables, will there be any compatibility issues?
A:
NADDOD cables adhere to international standards, ensuring good interoperability and compatibility, enabling them to be used alongside original cables without compatibility concerns.
