Mellanox® MFA2P10-Axxx compatible SFP28 active optical cables (AOC) is designed for use in 25GbE Ethernet systems. It contains one optic transceiver per end, each operating at data rates of up to 25Gb/s. In comparison to passive copper cables in data centers, this 25GBase-AOC has a significantly longer reach and higher port density. The AOC is simple to install and replace because it is hot pluggable.
